ALBERTO ZÚÑIGA RODRÍGUEZ.
Morelia, Michoacán, México, 1980.
Master in Media Production, specializing in directing and film production, from the Complutense University of Madrid.
From July 2010 to August worked as Director of Production and Technological Innovation in the Latin American Institute for Educational Communication, an international organism.
From August 2012 to January 2014, Zúñiga works as Coordinator of Broadcasting (Radio and Tv) in the same institute.
In 2000 he founded his production enterprise, Sinestesia Ads Media & FIlms, which has produced short films and documentaries that have been selected in several festivals in the world.
Other relevant positions he has held include: Director and producer of several independent audiovisual projects, Advisor to the General Direction and Special Programs Producer at the Sistema Michoacano de Radio y Television, Director of the International Bureau at the International Short Film Festival Contraplano in Segovia, Spain and as production coordinator at the news program at the Telemadrid Tv Station, among others.
For over 5 years has worked with children and adolescents in projects related to the creation of cinema and filmmaking. He has been a judge at three international film and video festivals and college professor for more than 10 years, teaching subjects related to film and media.
Sinestesia Ads Media & Films in 2013 produced the Michoacán´s 1st feature film (also made by people of this state), JANUARY, premiered at the 11th edition of the International Film Festival of Morelia in October and the first in the history of cinema in this region exhibited in comercial movie theaters. CAVE, the documentary is his first directorial opera, with which won the 2014 CYIFF BEST MUSIC TALENT DOC prize in the 9th International Film Fest Cyprus Cyprus.
His works (shorts, mediums and feature films) have been selected at more than 50 film festivals over the world.

ALBERTO ZÚÑIGA RODRÍGUEZ

Maestro en Producción Audiovisual, con especialidad en dirección y producción de cine, por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
De Julio de 2010 a Agosto de 2012 fue Director de Producción e Innovación Tecnológica en el Instituto Latinoamericano de la Comunicación Educativa, organismo internacional y desde Agosto de ese año a enero de 2014, se desempeñó como Coordinador de Radio y Televisión en este misma institución.
En el 2000 fundó la productora, Sinestesia, la cual ha producido cortometrajes y documentales que han sido seleccionados en diversos festivales del mundo.
Otros cargos relevantes que ha desempeñado son: Director y productor de diversos proyectos audiovisuales, Asesor de la Dirección General y Productor de Programas
Especiales del Sistema Michoacano de Radio y Televisión, Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Festival de Cortometraje Contraplano, en Segovia, España, así como coordinador de producción del informativo de fin de semana de Telemadrid, entre otros. Por más de 5 años ha trabajado con niños y adolescentes en proyectos relacionados con la creación y realización cinematográfica. Ha sido juez en tres festivales internacionales de cine y video y profesor universitario por más de 10 años, impartiendo materias relacionadas con el cine y los medios de comunicación.
Sinestesia en el 2013 produjo el 1er largometraje michoacano (hecho también por gente de este estado), ENERO, estrenado en la edición número 11 del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia en Octubre y el primero en la historia del cine de esta región en exhibirse en cartelera comercial. RUPESTRE, el documental es su ópera prima como director, con el cual obtuvo el premio CYIFF 2014 BEST MUSIC DOC TALENT, en el 9º Cyprus International Film Fest de Chipre.
Sus trabajos (cortos, largos y mediometrajes) han sido seleccionados en más de 50 festivales de cine alrededor del mundo.
